Outreach Support Worker

Full & Part time, flexible hours basis

Full UK driving licence, willingness to drive our minibuses and age 21+ desirable for this position

As an Outreach Support Worker, you will spend the majority of your time out in the community, supporting people in activities, events, and experiences. You may be required to pick individuals up from their home address to attend activities, all are within the Calderdale area.  You will be required to support individuals to engage in a variety of activities, including physical activities such as trampolining and swimming. You will facilitate participation, provide guidance, and engage where appropriate, taking into account individual staff circumstances and reasonable adjustments.

IST Support Worker (positive behaviour)

36 hours per week

In this role, you will work closely with individuals who may experience emotional distress or have diverse communication and support needs, playing a key role in achieving person-centred and positive outcomes. You will recognise behaviour as a form of communication and apply Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches to provide effective support. The role requires strong emotional and psychological resilience, enabling you to remain calm and respond appropriately during difficult or emotionally charged situations.

Female Support Worker - Days

36 hours per week (12hr shifts)

In this role you will provide compassionate, person-led support to individuals with support needs, ensuring their safety and well-being. Working closely with night staff for continuity of care.  This role is part of our Supported Living Team, working in partnership with individuals, families, and professionals to create safe, meaningful, and empowering environments. You will help people live purposeful lives, build relationships, and achieve personal goals.
