Melvyn and Donna enjoyed a trip over to Brighouse. They looked in the charity shops; Melvyn bought some cars and Snap cards. They then went to the Watermill for lunch and played Snap while waiting for their food. Melvyn enjoyed his lasagne, garlic bread, and mushy peas, and finished off with a cappuccino.
Melvyn and Donna also had a lovely trip over to Selby this week. They looked round the charity shops (they love a charity shop!) then had lunch at Macdonald’s. Melvyn said he would like to look round the Abbey next time they go to Selby.
Maddie, Hayden and Simon went for a walk to Manor Heath, then to the pub for dinner with a lovely bus ride home.
Caroline, Debra and Helen got into the spirit of things with a bit of dressing up at Leeds City Museum.
Maddie, Joanne, and Simon enjoyed bowling at Electric Bowl in Huddersfield.
Joyce and Donna went to a rather wet Halifax town centre this week. They soon warmed up with a hot chocolate in the Borough Market. When they came home they made chocolate brownies (they looked delicious).
Dalecroft had a fantastic afternoon when a very famous visitor called to see them…Elvis was in the building !!

In this week’s Hub cooking session, we made Healthy Pizzas and tuna pasta.
The pizzas had everyone’s individually chosen toppings on them.
At the weekend we went to Gravity in Leeds for some bouncing fun.
Jarrod has been out exploring the community; he’s been to the newly refurbished Bradford Media Museum.
Mason has been busy in the hub; he’s planted his bean stalks and been doing some jigsaws.
What to do when we are snowed in at the Hub? …….. We play games and have lots of dressing up fun.
Tina has been cooking healthy lamb kebabs; she did really well and even made extra for her dinner the following day.
We enjoyed looking at the snow and the icicles and spent some time in the sensory room and on the new Tiny Tablet.
