World Book Day winner, pancake day and so much more.

It’s that time of the month again when we ditch the bingo dabbers and go bowling instead.  A great evening was had by all at Electric Bowl in Halifax.

Alex, Tina, Alix, and James had a ‘flipping’ fantastic time on pancake day.

From pancakes with chocolate to having them with gravy, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Alex has been busy this week.  She has been doing activities on the Tiny Tablet, exploring the community, and posing for photos with the local horse-mounted police.

Alex has enjoyed spending time at the local park.

Nathan has been spending time in our sensory garden.  He also had a fun time at The Zone in Huddersfield playing Rugby.

We had a lovely World Book Day.  Jasper (Bob the Builder) was our ‘Best Costume’ winner, and Taylor (BFG) was our winner for the staff team.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us and made such a fun day.

As part of World Book Day, Daniel led a sensory Storytime when we read The Polar Bear and The Snow Cloud. We used trays of ice and fake snow to create the animals in the story and made our own snow clouds out of cotton wool.

Mason and Gary have been out and about around Halifax.

They visited the Piece Hall and enjoyed a nice refreshing drink before heading to Shibden Park for a walk around, looking at the ducks, enjoying the facilities and having punch on one of the benches outside the café.
